SkinPen® is a minimally-invasive treatment that is done in-office. While treatment times can vary, most patients can expect micro-needling with SkinPen® to last one hour. SkinPen® Micro-Needling is surprisingly comfortable with many clients comparing it to the feeling of sandpaper being gently rubbed across the skin. Patients should expect at least 1-hour for their micro-needling appointment for the application of a topical anesthetic.
Although many patients see noticeable results with just one treatment session, the majority of men and women need a series of at least 3-treatments to achieve an optimal initial outcome. Treatments are typically spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
