An Abdominoplasty is a skilled surgical procedure, and treatment times can vary depending on the individual. Generally, most patients can expect the surgery to take around two hours. General anesthesia is administered to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. Tummy tucks are performed as outpatient surgeries, allowing you to return home the same day.

Immediately after your procedure, you’ll notice a firmer, flatter stomach as excess skin and fat are removed. However, there will be some initial swelling. As this swelling decreases, your more contoured physique will start to become visible. Significant improvements are typically noticeable around 2 to 4 weeks post-surgery, with final results developing gradually over 6 to 8 months.

Recovery time can vary significantly from person to person.
